The board

DeKalb County Job Board is an independent, locally run job board for DeKalb County, Illinois. It is not affiliated with DeKalb County government. Listings are summaries of employers' own public postings — always confirm details, pay, and deadlines with the employer.

Job seekers

The board is free to browse. Applying happens on the employer's own site or through the employer's own contact method; we don't take applications, and we never charge job seekers.

Employers — what a posting buys

Single Job Post — $49: one opening, live on the board for 30 days. Featured upgrade — +$29: the same posting highlighted at the top of the board with a ★ Featured tag for its 30-day run. Employer Plan — $99/month: unlimited postings for one business while the plan is active; cancel anytime in Stripe.

How publishing works

A posting goes live after we receive both the posting form and the matching payment (matched by business name and email) — usually the same day. We may shorten or lightly edit a posting for clarity. We may decline or remove a posting that is misleading, unlawful or discriminatory, not actually located in DeKalb County, or already filled or expired.

Refunds

If we can't publish a paid posting, the payment is refunded in full.

Payments are processed by Stripe under Five Star Flow.
